The ecommerce and merchandising manager brings a strong business and marketing focus to product sales through TMM web properties, live events and other sales channels.  

This role will be responsible for developing a comprehensive strategic product sales plan, then directing and implementing all aspects of product sales (curriculum, apparel, published resources, etc.) through the multiple TMM channels. 

This is a dynamic, evolving role in which the ideal candidate will be capable of understanding business challenges and developing innovative solutions to achieve measurable results. An ecommerce and merchandising manager is able to understand the business goals thoroughly and develop plans at a strategic level then follow through with daily, hands-on project management.

Must be a confident self-starter, a team player, an innovative problem-solver and able to manage multiple projects at once. Needs to be attentive to detail, resourceful, work well under pressure and have strong communication skills. Must be effective communicating with both technical and non-technical team members. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and a hunger for responsibility and learning.

Responsibilities:
• Create comprehensive strategic solutions and clear plans based on ecommerce and merchandising business goals
• Direct and manage the TMM ecommerce website.
• Direct and manage the merchandising strategy at live events, including display strategies, pricing strategies and POS systems
• Grow overall product sales through various marketing campaigns
• Create new online marketing programs to promote sales.  Running email campaigns, search engine campaigns, onsite promotions, etc.
• Directing the product development process and managing the product development team
• Determining overall pricing strategies
• Managing inventory control systems
• Scope, estimate and manage ongoing project budgets.  Develop the departmental budget and manage the P&L.
• Offer new process and product ideas based on past experience
Required Experience:
• 3+ years running a successful online ecommerce operation.  Must include solid experience in both sales and marketing
• Bachelor degree or higher
• Experience in retail or live event merchandising management
• Previous proven success with P&L responsibility
• Ability to manage expectations and senior management communications, both written and verbal excellence
• Strong interpersonal skills and proven experience in high pressure situations
• Outstanding organizational skills
