Saturday, 7:15AM, Where do I go?
Please be prompt at
7:15 AM Saturday morning.  When you arrive, go directly to the volunteer check-in to receive your light breakfast; then proceed to the post you were assigned on Friday. When you arrive at your post, check in with your captain.

What about Meals?

Have Dinner before you arrive on Friday! On Saturday, we encourage you to bring a sack lunch. Concessions are generally open periodically through out the event. Please keep in mind that thousands of students will be using these concession stands during lunch and dinner breaks. On Saturday, volunteers will be provided a light breakfast and dinner. All meals will be in rotated shifts.  You will also be free to leave the arena for a break, if you desire. Please ALWAYS let your captain know so that all bases are covered.

What should I wear?

Wear comfortable pants and shoes. At the volunteer check-in you will be given an ATF Event Staff T-Shirt to wear during the event. Please plan to wear this T-shirt both days of the event.

What should I not bring?

We suggest that you do not bring valuable personal property inside with you. We cannot be responsible for lost or stolen articles. If you are an usher you may be able to keep items on your designated seat.

Can I bring a friend?
We invite Walk-Up volunteers!! All volunteers must be at least 17 years old. If you know a friend or a group of friends that would like to volunteer, please direct them to www.acquirethefire.com and have them sign up. Or they can call: 1.800.438.3635 to speak with a representative.

Can I bring my child/ children? We ask that you please do not bring any children to the event while you are volunteering.  Often times you will be very busy and have many people walking around you.  You can, however, purchase a ticket for your child to watch the event if they are old enough to be unsupervised.

WILL I
SEE THE EVENT?
A volunteer’s probability of seeing the Acquire the Fire will be dependant on the fulfillment of the volunteer numbers needed for the event.  The average volunteer sees around ¼ of the event. We are all part of this mighty army making an impact in this generation.  I encourage you to keep your focus on how the Lord wants to use you to minister to many broken people who will pass by your station.
